Of all the places I've seen on earth, Torres Del Paine National Park in Argentina is perhaps the most spectacular. I'm still new to producing video content, but I wanted to share this video showing some of the stunning scenery that I saw in the park when I visited in January:
I visited Torres Del Paine as part of a Princess Cruises shore excursion. Now, it may seem counter intuitive to go birding on a cruise vacation, after all there's literally thousands of other people, dozens on any particular shore excursion, and you always arrive at the ports of call after the prime-time crack of dawn birding hours, but I've added hundreds of great birds to my life-list by somewhat passively birding on these trips.
If you're interested in birding on cruise vacations, stay tuned! I'll be posting a lot more about how I do it, tips and tricks, and why I think it's a great way to bird the world.
